The Role

As a (Junior) Research Associate, the responsibility is to independently execute experiments and contribute to antibody discovery workflows by troubleshooting protocols and optimizing methods. Provide technical support to senior team members and collaborate in achieving project goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine laboratory tasks, including reagent preparation, cell culture maintenance, and sample management, ensuring adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) independently.

  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, proactively seeking guidance when challenges arise.

  • Being able of prepare and communicate project reports.

  • Assist senior team members with experimental setup and day-to-day lab operations to ensure smooth workflow and timely project progress.

  • When applicable, provide training and guidance to junior staff, troubleshooting technical issues to maintain workflow efficiency.

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Biological Sciences or related field with 1-2 years of relevant lab experience.

  • Proficiency in routine assays supporting discovery projects (e.g., ELISA, SDS/WB, cell-based assays), with strong problem-solving, data analysis, and documentation skills.

  • Ability to independently follow SOPs for routine tasks, with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to proactively consult with team members and supervisors when troubleshooting challenges.

  • Demonstrated eagerness to learn and develop technical expertise.

  • Basic understanding, some relevant experience and behaviours, some autonomy and minimal supervision required for assay set-up.
